Theme Advisory Committees

Led by faculty co-chairs, each Theme Advisory Committee assessed the current state of the University’s efforts related to each theme. The committees identified a small number of priority areas within each theme where Notre Dame can make distinctive contributions and have significant impact over the next decade.

Each committee was charged with developing recommendations regarding the initiatives, resources, and structures needed to move the University’s goals and these themes forward.

The Theme Committees shared their recommendations with the Strategic Framework Executive Committee, chaired by University President Rev. John I. Jenkins, C.S.C. The Executive Committee membership includes Provost John McGreevy; Executive Vice President Shannon Cullinan; the faculty co-chairs of each of the seven Theme Advisory Committees; Ann Firth, vice president and president’s chief of staff; and David Bailey, vice president of Institutional Research, Innovation, & Strategy.
