This semester, the Office of the Provost will continue the Connections Series and its focus on the Strategic Framework, highlighting the Data, AI, and Computing Initiative, the Global Catholic Research Initiative, and the Wilma and Peter Veldman Family Psychology Clinic, the cornerstone of the University's commitment to mental health through the Health and Well-Being Initiative. Each event will include a short program featuring a conversation, with opportunities for Q&A and fellowship with your colleagues. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served. In order to plan accordingly, we ask that you please RSVP below.
The University-wide Data, AI, and Computing (DAC) Initiative, launched in September, aims to advance purposeful data, AI, and computing — excelling in foundational research while catalyzing interdisciplinary collaboration and real-world translation to address pressing societal challenges. The Provost's Office created the Connections Series to strengthen our sense of community, highlight the work of interdisciplinary institutes, centers, and other academic units, and build a culture of scholarly connection across disciplines, colleges, and schools.
