Sophia Rockwell

Sophia Rockwell is a research associate with the Notre Dame Just Transformations to Sustainability Initiative. In this role, she leads various components of the initiative’s curriculum innovation efforts and helps coordinate the initiative’s research portfolio.

Prior to joining the JTS Initiative, Sophia interned with the Environmental Peacebuilding Association and conducted undergraduate research at Notre Dame’s Kellogg Institute for International Studies, Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies, Nanovic Institute for European Studies, Regenerating Ecologies and Economies for Livelihoods (REEL) Lab, and Notre Dame Law School. She has previously worked in the Notre Dame Gender Relations Center and with the Notre Dame Men’s Lacrosse Team.

She holds a B.S. in Environmental Science and Global Affairs from the University of Notre Dame.
