Poverty Research Community

Students of all class years and majors who are interested in learning more about poverty research and exploring how different disciplines approach questions of poverty and its alleviation can apply to join the Poverty Research Community. Community members participate in special events throughout the year, connect with peers who share their interests, and engage with faculty, researchers, and practitioners working to better understand and address poverty.
Poverty Research Community members are expected to attend at least three PRF events each semester to remain active in the program. Attendance and engagement are taken into consideration for future PRF applications.
The Poverty Research Community application opens early each spring semester. During the application window, more information can be found on the Applications page.
