Join us for coffee and conversation between Notre Dame students and Chris Matthews, former host of MSNBC's Hardball. Matthews is an acclaimed Kennedy biographer and served as Washington Bureau Chief for the San Francisco Examiner. He covered the opening of the Berlin Wall in Germany, the first all-race election in South Africa, and the peace referendum in Northern Ireland. Before his career in journalism, he served as a White House aide and speechwriter for President Jimmy Carter and as a senior aide to House Speaker Thomas P. O'Neill, Jr. (D-MA).
Coffee and refreshments will be provided. This event is open to Notre Dame students and faculty.
